Procurement Executive (Pharma)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of medications and pharmacy related items in accordance with company policy and hospital requirements.
- Monitor and cross check the Reorder Quantity Report from the Pharmacy Department to verify stock levels, MOQ, and lead time accuracy before processing any purchase request.
- Coordinate with the Hospital Pharmacy Manager to confirm usage trends, stock balances, and upcoming needs to ensure appropriate ordering.
- Maintain and update all procurement related records and reports accurately.
- Monitor medication expiry dates and coordinate with suppliers on near expiry or excess stock management.
- Liaise with vendors on purchases, quotations, deliveries, and stock related issues to ensure timely supply.
- Assisting Group Procurement in terms of price comparisons, vendor negotiations, and cost saving initiatives to optimize pharmaceutical spending across Hospitals.
- Support and coordinate pharma procurement arrangements across Aurelius Hospitals, maintaining consistency in pricing, supplier management, and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in pharmacy / inventory management (preferably in hospital/ healthcare setting).
- Preferably Diploma in Pharmacy or healthcare related field.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory control practice is a plus.
