Spreading Kindness & Compassion: Ramadan with Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan

As the blessed month of Ramadan came to a close, Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan is grateful to have embraced the spirit of giving and community through a series of heartfelt initiatives.

Our Ramadan activities began with a special Ramadan talk by Ustaz Harryanto, who shared enlightening reminders on patience, gratitude, waqaf, sadaqah, and the spiritual importance of this holy month. His words resonated deeply with our team, patients, and attendees, encouraging reflection and inner peace.

We were also honoured to be preparing and distributing bubur lambuk, a cherished tradition that brings warmth and unity, a joint effort with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), McDonalds Nilai, and Masjid Nilai Putra. Staff and volunteers worked hand in hand to prepare and share this wholesome porridge with hospital visitors and surrounding communities—spreading joy and nourishment with every bowl.

One of the most touching highlights was the shopping and iftar session with asnaf and orphans. We had the privilege of accompanying these special guests for a shopping trip to pick out Raya clothes and essentials at Aeon Nilai, followed by a warm and joyful breaking of fast together. Seeing their smiles and excitement was a humbling reminder of the power of compassion and community care.
