Covid-19 Updates
New Hospital Visiting Hours and Access
Our highest priority at Aurelius Hospital Nilai is the safety and well-being of our patients, visitors, physicians and our employees. It is important for us to keep you informed during this period of COVID-19 concern.
Aurelius Hospital Nilai has created a COVID-19 task force to proactively ensure the highest level of patient care and hospital safety. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to reduce the risk of the spread of the disease. Therefore, we have revised visitor policy and is screening everyone who enters our patient care facilities.
Visitor Restrictions
We know there are many situations where caregivers and family are helpful during an outpatient visit. However, at this time we have to restrict the number of people in our wards and waiting areas to support social distancing and foster a healthier, safer environment:
For all caregivers [No visitors are allowed]
- Only 1 caregiver per patient is allowed.
- Face mask must be worn at all times in the hospital.
- Wash your hand or use a hand sanitiser when entering or leaving the ward.
- The Café only allows dining for fully vaccinated individuals.
For all vendor/contractor representatives
- Vendor/suppliers/contractors are not allowed on the premise except for the delivery of consignments, goods or equipment, or for repair and maintenance work.
Keeping All Visitors Safe
Keeping all visitors safe is our utmost priority. Aurelius Hospital Nilai has implemented additional precautionary measures to increase the safety of the premises, including frequent sanitising and cleanings, and temperature assessments.

Entrance
We continue to screen every customer before entering our hospital as a measure of our safety efforts. Your temperature is taken by a no-touch thermal scanner located at the Primary Triage. Visitors are not permitted to enter if they exhibit signs or symptoms. A health declaration form will need to be completed at the Primary Triage before entering any of our facilities. We understand these screenings and forms may be an inconvenience; however, it is an important step to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. We appreciate your help in protecting our patients and staff.

Masks and Hand Sanitisers
All visitors and hospital staff members are required to wear a mask at all times within the facility. Social distancing measures are also strictly implemented around the hospital areas. We place great emphasis on hand hygiene and sanitisation. Hand sanitisers are accessible at various locations within the hospital and instructions on effective hand washing are placed near sinks for visitors’ reference. For those who use the elevator for their appointments, there will be limits for people to be in the space at the same time. Our elevators are sanitised every 2 hours, as well other frequently touched places are constantly being disinfected by our cleaning staff to halt the spread of germs.
Safe Places, Trusted Care
During this global COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment to giving you a safe, reliable place to receive care is even more important to us. So, if you are in an emergency, don’t delay. We want to see you, and we promise that your health is in our good hands.
We are here to provide you with the safest environment possible, because what keeps you safe, keeps us all safe.
