Dr. Mohd Basil Sulaiman

Dr. Mohd Basil Sulaiman is a healthcare executive and medical doctor with extensive experience in hospital administration, healthcare policy, and operational management within Malaysia’s public healthcare system. He brings a strong background in driving operational transformation, improving hospital performance, and delivering strategic healthcare initiatives in complex environments.

Dr. Basil holds a Master’s degree in International Health Services and Hospital Management from London South Bank University and a medical degree from Penang Medical College – University College Dublin.

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in national healthcare initiatives under Malaysia’s Ministry of Health, particularly in casemix systems, healthcare financing, and hospital performance management. He has also contributed to policy development, training, and healthcare documentation while remaining actively engaged in professional and community organisations.
